AGES FOR Cirque du Soleil

If they can sit quietly through a 90 minute show, then yes. However, I have been to shows with three year olds behind me kicking the seat the entire time or talking through the whole show. I find that disrespectful to the other people there (esp. since it isn't cheap). But, all children are different and you know your children better than anyone. I would definately use your discresion.

Another option is to take the oldest child as a special treat. There are some children's activities or even babysitters that will take your kids to the park (even though you have to pay their admission) for the youngest. It all depends... I have only heard good things about the babysitting.

The eight year old is not too young for the show. If the 5yr old and 3yr old do not have a problem sitting for about 2 hours total then I would say that they are not too young. The show is very entertaining.

We'll be attending Cirque De Soli while at Disney (myself, DH, DS13, and DD12) but we will be leaving DS4 at the Neverland Kids Club at the Polynesian. The thought of my husband or myself having to leave because my son is bored or spend the show in anxiety because he's getting impatient is not my idea of a good way to spend close to $400. DS4 will have more fun at the kids club. Works for all of us.

Good luck!1:wave:

5 days more and we'll be *chillin like villins* - POR HERE WE COME!! :teeth: :hyper: ::yes::

We took our DS when he was 6 and he didn't like it. He is now 11 and we were watching Cirque Du Soleil on Bravo and he thought it was cool. He told me that he remembers going and being freaked out during the show. He says he remembers dark things running around on the stage. He said the music was strange also.. He said he would love to go and see it now, but we have a 3 yr old and I would not take her.

The older girls may appreciate it if they are in dancing or gymnastics. Have them watch one of the shows on Bravo. That way you can gage their interest without having to pay for a ticket.

If they are not interested take them to the Neverland Club at the Poly. Ds loved it there.
