I haven't been to Epcot in 20 years. We're going in September with 3 kids. They love watching Phineas and Ferb and I think they would enjoy Agent P. But I'm wondering if we will have time for it. We always stay at theme parks from open to close and push to try to get everything in. They are looking forward to seeing the countries and doing everything in futureworld as well. Will doing Agent P occupy a lot of time? And will it greatly diminish their experiences in the countries? Maybe I would want them to remember the countries and not Agent P? Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

I felt like the missions did take up some time but it was a great way for them to have something to do while they explored the countries. I think my kids would have been bored without it. We thought it was a great experience and a lot of fun.

It does occupy a lot of time, but your kids will absolutely love it. You can do as many or few missions as you want, but especially if your kids are Phineas and Ferb fans, after one mission, they will probably be hooked. The effects they will get to trigger with their communicators in each of the countries are really fun. I pretty much had to pry the communicator out of DH's hand and make him give it to DD, he was having as much fun as she was.

OP posting. I also meant to add that we will only be there for 1 day so it's important we "cram" everything in!

My kids adore these. I find them a little tedious, but they think they are absolutely fantastic. Their favorites are Mexico, Germany and England.

I think they enhance the touring in the countries as it gives the kids something to do and look for while walking around. They'll be forced (for lack of better words) to explore areas they may have otherwise overlooked. Do 1 and see how they feel and then decide if you want to do others or not. With all the stuff gone from FW now we find there is little to do once we've done our rides up there.

My boys are 13 and 10 and they absolutely loved this while we were on our trip in June. My 13 yr. old has his own cell phone...so we let the two boys have at the Agent P missions while we took our DD4 to see all the princesses in the World Showcase. They explored the world areas more than we did with DD4 and even interacted with other families that would get stuck on a mission. There is a time limit to each mission (it would time out after so long) so it keeps you moving through the World Showcase, and could limit you from exploring one area more if you wanted. My boys also loved Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom and the Pirate thing at Magic Kingdom. For our family these were great opportunities to allow our older boys to explore the way they wanted while also being able to do all the character meet and greets with our DD4...AND keep everyone happy doing what they enjoyed.

My wife and I are both way past being kids age wise, but our inner kid loves them. I think we completed 3 missions in around an hour or so...maybe a little longer. We explored the countries and saw more detail than we ever would have without 'em.

The great thing is, you can do one or all of the missions. If you find they are taking too much time, ditch the rest. They get you through most of the countries anyway, and we find even as adults it enhances the experience.

This for sure. I feel like it gets us deeper into the countries than we normally would with our tween and helps us all to appreciate the detailed theming and available experiences. Once you start the mission you don't have to go gangbusters to finish it in a short period of time. If you want to pause and look at something or buy a treat that is totally doable.

Our favorites are Germany and England. If you are only going to do a couple, those are fun ones! They are all good though.

My daughter loved it. My wife and I would switch out for different countries so the other could tour the pavilions.

I hope this is not necessary - do the Mexico pavilion if it is raining.

Thanks for replies everyone! We'll probably start doing it and see how it goes.

If you only have one day, that's the best thing to do. Don't feel like you have to "cram everything in" - just relax and be glad you are there with your family.

My favorite Missions are Germany for the "Singing Steins" and France for the free, unique Agent P Pressed Penny(Note-not a part of all France Missions) and "Zip Line Agent P".:)

Those would be the 2 I would do if time is a factor.:)

mexico is my favorite one to do because it involves air conditioning.
