Age requirements

My daughter is three but with a dad that is 6'7" she looks like she is a five year old!! I am obviously jealous since I'm 5'2"!!

Do you think she will have troubles getting into the park as a three year old? I'm going to bring her birth certificate in case anyone questions it but just wondering if we are going to have a hard time every day?!

If she's 3, she does need a ticket.

It won't matter because both a 3 year old and a 5 year old require the same ticket.

No, it's under 3 is free. As soon as they hit their third birthday they require a ticket and count towards room occupancy, are charged at buffets, etc.

Technically- if a child checks into a resort before they turn three (even the day before their 3rd birthday) they are considered to be 2 the entire length of stay- including not needing a ticket and free dining at buffets/AYCTE places. This only applies to onsite stay and not off site though.

I haven't personally experienced this but friends have (my daughter isn't 3 yet). I believe it's also the same practice for a 9 year old turning 10. I would always ask and check with a CM before counting on this 100%. If anyone has info that this is no longer the practice, please let us know!!

I tell you, that under/over things drove me nutty when DS was little. We had one zoo that was free for 3 and under and another zoo that worded it just slightly different and I was always getting confused.

And I've been at airports with people with 2 year olds who thought they could be lap babies, when that ends AT 2.

Having a toddler is confusing enough without having to deal with "to" 3 vs "through" 3 etc.

We took DD right before she turned 3, she is very tall, but at the time very quiet, and were never asked to confirm her age. Now we will be taking DS and he will turn 3 on our trip but he talks a lot!! Since he's so vocal he seems older to me and now I'm worried they will question it! I will have his birth certificate just in case.
