Hi everyone!! quick question for you guys..Ive been on 2 cruises, but they were royal carribbean..a couple friends and i are looking into taking a cruise over winter break, but i know some cruise lines you have to be 21 to sail without an adult...is this true with disney? by that time we would all be 20

also..hope i can add in another question...Being 20 at the time..we all love disney and thought it would be cool to do the cruise....do u think that were "too old" or anything like that

jeN, according to the brochure (didn't check the website) only guests under age 18, need to have an adult, 21 years or older in their stateroom with them.
Sounds like you should be fine, but I'd call DCL just to be sure.

Thank you so much..guess i should go check the webpage :) ...just never did a cruise with disney and had questions

My kids ages 19, 20, their friends ages 20 and 21 and my nieces ages 20 and 21 sailed on the Magic last year with us and they all had a ball....said it was the best vacation they ever had....
They hung out by the adult pool, took part in all the theme nights in the adult clubs like 70's night, 80's night, went to Palo for brunch, did it all. If you like Disney and having a good time you will have a blast. Disney is what you make of it.

These are some pics of group onboard....and participating in some of the theme nights....

just FYI, you can sail by yourself after age 18, so 20 is fine for solo sail, BUT you will NOT be able to drink (theoretically). As a parent, this is 1 of the things I really like about DCL...even though you are in international waters, the drinking age aboard the ships is still 21.
As for "are you too old"....NEVER!!!!!!! Never are you too old for a Disney cruise. We are about to do our second withOUT our kids, and looking forward to it! This way, we can be overgrown kids ourselves!
