My daughter will be 3 in the beginning of June. We are going to Disney from April 23-29. She just got measured at the peds and she is over 36 inches tall. Some of the rides have an age and a height requirement. I know she would love Barnstormer ( she rode something like it this summer at Storyland) and Maelstrom ( she loves rain storms) Why do they require an min age (is the ride too scary for kids?)she would love to ride them but she is a month shy of 3 when we go......

I wasn't aware of an age requirement and I have never noticed anyone asking for proof while I was there.

My 2 year old rode Barnstorming when she was just shy of 3.

And both kids rode Maelstorm I believe in May. One was 3 and the other was just shy of 2. I'm not sure if my 2 year old rode Maelstorm but I'll ask my husband. I thought she did.

My son went on barnstormer at that same age as well...I cant remember for sure BUt I'm so thinking his cousin who was about a year younger did as well. I THINK the any age 'requirements' you may see are more of a guideline where the height is a MUST.

I've seen infants on Maelstrom a good rule is if it doesn't have restraints then most likely no restictions.
