Age limit for slide?

We just watched our DCL DVD, really cool by the way! Anyway I think it said the Mickey Pool was for ages 3 - 10? My son is 11, will he not be allowed on the slide? It looks really fun and plenty big enough for the bigger kids. Any experience with older kids doing the slide?

The slide only allows kids from 4-14 and from 32-64 inches tall.
