3. If they like it. If not, try again the following year. I have seen excellent 6yr olds. It really depends on what you are most comfortable with. The boots are really expensive the younger they start as they keep changing in size. Good Luck!
Lewski is right the age to start is 3. Start them as young as possible. Young kids have no fear! Jenn you should learn at the same time so you can ski as a family. It's a blast (but $$)
I would love to learn next year, but I might have a baby next winter (if things work out.) If not then I will definitely learn with DD. I definitely want to learn! I think it would be a great family activity.
our son was 3 or 4 and man he took to it really well....I would recommend lessons from an instructor though...I'll never forget at the top of a hill hearing a child say to his father I hate you for bringing me here!....I felt so bad for the kid!...
Thanks MAC3...I love it when people say I am right. This may be a first on the Dis boards.....how sad is that? <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/382.gif' border=0></a>
