My daughter will be 11 when we go to WDW in March. Does anyone know the age cut off at Disney Restaurants for kids meals, or is it dependant on the restaurant?

I have read somewhere that the age for kids is 3-11, so I think you DD would still fall under that category. We took my daughter when she had turned 3 a week before and they just automatically did not charge us because I guess they assumed she was under 3.

well i am 14 and i still eat on the kids meals my mom just tells the person who is scheduling our trip that i am a very picky eater and at all the restaurants i get a kids meal and thats all they pay for

I'm 27 and I ate of the kids menu once. We were at the Coral Reef and my hubby loves seafood but seafood and myself DO NOT get along in any way shape or form. So I asked the server if it would be ok to order from the kids menu and she said it was.

Doesn't hurt to ask.

Is that the same for buffets? I'll be at WDW in January with my very picky eater 11yo. I wouldn't mind going to some buffets, but don't want to go if I have to pay full price for my son. All he'll do is pick at the food or eat the selections that are more for kids, anyway.

I just found my answer, at least for Chef Mickey's. According to the posted menu from allearsnet he would be considered a child. That's wonderful! I was afraid that they would go by the same age rules as park tickets.
