apparently not... hence why it took me so long to get to yours... have to try and do everything at home lots of reporters... if not all... use photobucket and it's no fun looking at a report when u can 't see pictures

yeah... I'll be able to do it from home... just limits when i can do it... since usually I do it at work... more peaceful lol... kids wanna check it all out and are distracting lol .... love em .... but they are not helpful when mommy's tryin to post an update lol.... they love checking out other TR though...

How weird that they blocked photobucket but not face book You'll be OK with Kat and V's TR's as they don't use photobucket, half the time I can't see Kat's photos but for some reason they do appear a few days later

The time has finally arrived​

Ok, so last I left you all my family was still NOT packed and had only a few hours till departure…

Well we finally started getting stuff together. DH was in charge of his own stuff, as he should be. I gathered the stuff I had made the kids, my stuff and began the “count” to be sure we had a good amount of stuff. Since we planned to be doing laundry at WDW we don’t “overpack” we just wash and wear again hehe.

Once I had mini’s stuff all together between her home made stoff and her “costumes” she was set but I decided to throw in a 2 or 3 “store bought” outfits just in case. Which was a good plan. I then moved on to Ry and decided what shirts could go with shorts that didn’t have shirts to go with em. Then added a few of his cuter getups to bring with us too. I decided the eldest child, Forest is old enough to pack himself and knows what he needs, he did a good job btw, in case you wondered .


I then got my “ULTIMATE PACKING LIST” that I use every year… a modified one that started as the one from the mouse for less that I fixed to go with what WE need and has worked perfect for us for years. I began marking off what I had packed, grabbed the toiletry bag and began stuffing it and marking stuff off from there as well.


Once all the essentials were done I went into our “office” and packed the “Disney” stuff, party needs for the “GLOW” party and a lil sumthin sumthin for my hand twin (Lifelong Dreamer), you will have to read her report if you want more info on that. I also had to be sure to grab the Autograph books I had done for myself, bentlygirl and Farrah (heath-and-javens-mom) and the id cards and cm thank you cards I’d done too lol… yes… lots of crafting. I also had to be sure to grab the bag of stuff I’d done for Farrah (see her TR for more info hehe )

yes… I am pimping other peoples reports in the middle of mine, I may do that from time to time, just so you know.

I got all that together, made sure I had all my guide books and then packed my laminator (yes I brought my laminator to WDW, Tracy would be so proud hehe)

By this time it was about 4pm and the eldest would be arriving home from school so he went to his room and got all packed up, DH went out back to say his goodbyes to our dogs and I grabbed the DVD players and went thru the list 1 more time just to be sure we didn’t miss anything, and yes, we did but it wasn’t that big a deal.

After the boy was packed and DH had all the bags in the van (he insisted but whateva) we got the DVD players set up and were on the road by 5pm.



Here are the kids as the journey starts…

My eager princess heavy into her coloring... I did "treasure boxes" for Mini and Ry to keep them occupied on the car ride... card games, puzzles, crayons and a colorable box and coloring book... it worked as u can see

We drove and drove and drove… I won’t bore you with the details… but here are some sights along the way.



Crossing the border into Kentucky

The "Machine" as my mom and I would dub him... he did 90% of the driving without complaing

The drive itself for the most part was quite boring, no “drama” as we sat the kids where they couldn’t reach eachother to fight lol and they were so excited they didn’t bother and slept a lot of the drive. I spent a lot of the afternoon and evening Texting my Disney pals: Farrah, Jamie, Antss, Scott and also texting with my Mom… I sent pictures along the way to let them know what I was seeing which was a hoot… some are the pictures above, but you guys would have to verify for sure if you got those ones hehe. I know farrah didn’t get pic mail but she got a text here and there and a call I think twice.



So we drove… and drove… and drove…. Through the night my husband drove. About 7am he couldn’t take it anymore and I took over till about 10 or 11… not too long… and he went back at it…



UP NEXT… Would we drive straight thru? Or will we stop along the way…

potty breaks every 2 or so hours... sometimes more.... fights... lil ones... not too crazy....

hehe... yes... i am slow.... gonna try and get this one done before the year ends lol... rather than by 60 days like last 2 years lol
