AGAIN... Sci Fi or Prime Time for lunch?

We are going in May and currently have the following ADRs:
WCC (Dinner... will probably do breakfast one morning too)
LeCellier
HDDR
MM- Fantasmic
LTT (Dinner)
CM (breakfast)

It is me, DH and DS5. I am thinking of adding an ADR for either SciFi or Prime Time for lunch. I was thinking Prime Time, but then we are doing WCC. Are the antics going to be too similar? Should I go with SciFi for the completely different atmosphere? Do any of the other restraunts I have ADRs for have a good burger on the menu? Which would you do?

I really like both places, but I think your DS5 would probably enjoy SciFi more.

I thought about Prime Time, but I dont think I would like somebody staying on my case about elbows on the table. lol Althought it's suppose to be humorous, I read in one place where it intimidated kids when they got on to them about eating veggies and elbows off the table.

The sci fi thing looks fun to me. My husband said he might want to try it so I have it saved on my list. Everybody says they have great milkshakes too. I will have to wait and see for myself.

Sci fi is a great place for burgers and yes, definitely milkshakes! We kind of like it as a lunch spot because it is dark (like you're at a drive-in at night) and cool. It's just such a respite from what's going on outside. It's very rejuvenating (not to mention it's themed to a hilt...you really do feel like you're at a drive-in a bit)!

We like prime-time, but not quite as much. We haven't ever really been given a hard time about elbows or really anything there. I know that's their gimmick, but it always seems pretty normal when we go...a little bit of schtick, but nothing unappealing.

lunch at sci-fi for us every trip - burgers, fries and shakes

at 50s, we go for dinner - DH loves the pot roast

agreed! I don't know why (and maybe it's not even true since I haven't tried burgers ALL OVER WDW) but I feel like they have the BEST burgers at Sci Fi! MMMM.. I want one now!

Sci Fi is a GREAT lunch spot. We always book it at least once every vacation.

Prime Time is fun, if you have a great server. We will go there for dinner but it is not a restaurant we do every trip.

We alternate between Sci Fi and 50s and always for lunch. So I'm not help there.

BUT - if you go to Sci Fi with three people, one of you will have to sit in a "seat" by themselves. So it wouldn't be your son, it would be either you or your husband.

Just something to think about. Love both of the places.

Why couldn't it be her son?

I would put son in front so he can "drive" and get his "license" and sit with DH in the 2nd seat!

Whoo-hoo! Sci-Fi it is! My son ALWAYS wants to sit with Dad! Which is a welcome reprieve from being hung all over in the heat! They can sit up front and I can sit by myself, relax and not have a monkey on my back! Sounds great to me!

Because the son is five. I would suggest he "drive" but wasn't sure with the age.
