Based on food, I would have to say Tokyo Dining. I know it's not listed, but I was really disappointed. We are huge fans of Japanese food, so we were really excited to try it out. We waited forever to be seated, weren't impressed with the menu, and when we did order and get out food and was bland, flavorless, and unimpressive - definitely not memorable. The upside of our experience there was that we had a great view for Illuminations!

I'm surprised to see 'Ohana voted so much! It's definitely one of my "must do" restaurants! I feel like I go every time I'm there!!!

WOW! My faves every year are 50's, Ohana, and Chef's!

MY LEAST FAVE DISNEY RESTAURANT: TEPPAN EDO!!

We LOVE Japanese food, and while it wasn't really the food, per se, but I just was amazed at how big a deal it is to eat there when you can't throw a stick in my town without finding cheaper, better, and bigger servings of the same food. With better chefs! And it's not like we live in Chicago or NYC, we live in a medium sized town in NC.

We will never ever go back there.

There are some odd choices you list that I would never put in my worst list. It is amazing how folks have different tastes! Out of your list, I felt that Chefs de France was the worst - mediocre food, mediocre ambience. I actually thought the best thing on the menu was the kids meal - cheese pastry with the salad!

But my least favorite restaurant so far is Chef Mickey's. I went for dinner and it was horrid. I would consider going for breakfast but only if my kids were desperate to see the fab 5 in one place. But from now on, we'll do other character meals.

Yep, I would agree with this.

I chose Ohana. I know it's hugely popular here on the DIS, but we didn't like anything other than the bread and salad! No other part got more than a bite taken out of it, we just didn't care for it at all! Our server was very distant and rude as well. We were in shock, having never been treated that way at Disney! In fact, it was such a bad experience we actually complained (we are not the type!) and had our bill comped for the first (and hopefully last) time in our lives!

Some of you mentioned it was an odd list for worst favorite foods, well these are not my worst, they are my reservations (minus chefs, as I cancelled it). Love reading the reviews and thoughts, though now Im a little warey about some :)

You didn't even like the bread pudding?

Oh Boy, more than half of these restaurants being named are a part of my advance dining reservations.

Coral Reef came recommended by a co-worker, and 50s Primetime was recommended by many Disney travel sites and books (I am mainly interested in the atmosphere anyway). And people are mentioning some that aren't on the list, like Yak and Yeti and LTT - which I also have. I am a bit worried now about what kind of food we'll be eating throughout our trip!

LOL! Don't worry! I have eaten at some places that were FLAMED and loved it, and then eaten at some favorites and HATED it! You never know until you try. For instance, I always hear glowing reviews of Flame Tree BBQ, and we absolutely hated it. A lot of people bash Chefs de France, and it's our first meal every trip. And then you never hear about GF Cafe, and it has become a must do for us. Have fun experimenting, and look for hidden jewels!

Of the ones you posted, I've eaten at all of them except for Mama Melrose and Teppan Edo. I voted for Chefs. I studied abroad in France (6 months), studied one summer there, and have traveled throughout different regions at different stages of my life, and I was sooooo disapointed with the food at Chefs. they did such a good job of recreating a cafe atmosphere, but when it came to the food it was completely unmemorable.

Coral Reef and Yak and Yeti were our two favorite meals on our last trip...they are the only two repeats for our trip this summer!

You have to admit that a lot of disney restaurants are based on the experience and the food is a side attraction and sometimes hit or miss.
Overall though I think that most places get at least a TGI Fridays kinda quality level. Again there are always good and bad days.

Hard to choose just one

CS;
ABC Commissary
CS in Morocco

TS;
Sci-Fi
Chefs De France
CRT new dinner menu (going to give it another shot since it's always been a fav in the past)

Again, I must repeat what we say on so many threads - the same restaurants you find on people's 'never again' list are going to be some of the same restaurants on people's 'must do' lists. Opinions and tastes vary, and there are good and bad days at restaurants.

I haven't eaten at ALL the TS restaurants at WDW, but I've eaten at most of them. (I will mention that we try to avoid anything having to do with burgers or plain old american cooking that we can get at home.)

Of your restaurants listed, I'd say Coral Reef's food is just okay. But not horrible. (I've never had a horrible meal at Disney and I've been going since the mid 1980's!)

I LOVE lunch at Chefs de France! Seriously - BEST french onion soup we've ever had. I would go just to get that soup! And our server was a doll! He had only been here for about a month, so we had a great conversation with him about his home in France and how he was liking the U.S. so far.

I haven't had bad food at Ohana, but I will admit we did have really bad service our last time there, so I haven't gone my last two trips.

I like Teppen, but there are so many hibachi places at home, so we don't do it often.

We've had two great meals at Yak and Yeti, but then again I LOVE asian flavors, and the restaurant decor is really cool.

I had a not-so-great meal at San Angel Inn three years ago, but we gave it another chance last summer and they hit it out of the park - it was GREAT! (And on trips before the one three years ago, we only had good experiences here.)

We also really like Tangeriene Cafe in Morocco. It's a must-do CS place for us. The shawarma is really good.

So, just a reminder to everyone, if a restaurant's menu looks good to you, try it! It may become your new favorite, even if someone else hates it! :)

I really disliked Coral Reef and LTT dinner (not on your list). These are never agains for me. LTT lunch is a different story.
