As a military family, we get a lot of travel related mail. Looking to find out information about Armed Forces Vacation Club. Has anyone stayed with any of the space-a locales? I have been looking at the rates (wow great price), but when we look into the Trip Advisor reviews, oh goodnesss...we're talking roach motel or worse.

A few years ago we stayed at Celebration World Resort. (I think it's called Festiva Resort now.) Loved it! Nothing fancy, but very clean. Well worth the cost! Also loved that it was pet friendly and every day there were planned activities for kids. Would definitely stay there again.

We have booked through them several times, including a few trips to Disney. We also have 2 more weeks coming up, thanks to their BOGO offer, we go in May and September. We have stayed at the Villas at Fortune Place and Summer Bay, both were clean and nice. Fortune Place was much better than expected after being on Trip Advisor! the only problem with both was location, both were further away than we like. We are staying at Silver Lake Silver Points and then Orbit One, and both look nice and have much better locations to Disney.

denneg is correct Silver Lakes and Orbit one are close.

generally would not recommend Westgate - but just say no to their marketing- sales pitches, maintenance conference or anything that sounds like you are required to attend. Westgate Villa and Town Center are close

Sheraton Vistana Village
Cypress Pointe
Grand Beach
Byran's Spanish Cove
Vacation Villa at Parkway

are all close to WDW.

I've been wondering the same thing. We are booked at Bella Piazza in June. Most of the reviews I find look good, but they often mention a specific owner.

these are condo in Davenport - so sorry don't have any information on it.

We have stayed several times - mostly near Disney but we have also stayed other places too. The best choices are the 4 diamonds and up - we have stayed at Bonnet Creek, Wyndham Cypress Palms, Polynesian Isles and Legacy. We are staying again in the fall at Polynesian Isles again and at Star Island. Only Legacy was sub-par but it wasn't terrible. It's a great deal IMHO.
