I don't have any details b/c I haven't been yet, but in the food photos thread there are some tea pictures. Also, allearsnet com has the menu. We have an ADR for our trip. I just wish it were cheaper!
I went with my parents and we had an excellent time.
It was a wonderful break from the parks for the afternoon and the Grand Floridian is just beautiful!
If you know when you want to go, I would call and make ADR's for this. One time when I had gone, we couldn't get in because someone was having a shower there and there were no tables available. One time I had called to make an ADR and had told the CSR that I had wanted to make a ressie for afternoon tea at the GF but she told me that they don't take ressies for tea. But when I got there and asked the cast member she said that they do take them, just make sure to ask for the Garden View Lounge.
They will love it! I went with my mom and my 17 year old son in January and my son even loved it. My mom is not a "tea person" but she enjoyed the chamomile tea, the sandwiches and the pastries. We all enjoyed the giant bowls of fresh strawberries with cream. They also have sparkling wine, which I found to be overkill with all the tea and other food.
