I had not seen any info on this yet here...or maybe I missed it. Anyhoo...I found this when I was checking out the PTN packages on the DLR website. Looking forward to doing this with my daughter.
Too bad they do not mention the cost.

Within the glamorous Hollywood-style setting of Steakhouse 55 at Disneyland Hotel, prepare for one of the most regal rituals to survive a bygone era—afternoon tea. Originally introduced to European high society in the 1800s, this relaxing respite promises to forge unforgettable memories with family and friends.

From 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM beginning January 22, 2016, you’re invited to sip loose leaf teas and herbal infusions while treating your taste buds to an assortment of delightful morsels. The menu includes traditional scones, tea sandwiches, desserts and more. Aperitifs, wines by the glass, ports and cordials are also available for an additional charge.

Choose from 3 distinct tea parties:

Classic Tea Party

  • Traditional Scones
  • Tea Sandwiches
  • Desserts
  • Teas and Herbal Infusions
Premium Tea Party

  • Sparkling Wine
  • Traditional Scones
  • Salad
  • Tea Sandwiches
  • Desserts
  • Farewell Truffle
  • Teas and Herbal Infusions

I'm going to it on Sunday, the 24th. :) I remember when they had the Mary Poppins Tea at the Paradise Pier Hotel.

I just got off the phone with DLR Dining. They told me the prices are not set, but they currently have the tea packages listed as:
$40 for the Kids Tea Party
$50 for the Classic
$65 for the Premium

I've done Afternoon tea at several places and those prices are outrageous. I've never paid that for an afternoon tea.

There is an afternoon tea served at the Empress Hotel here in Victoria BC and sadly, the prices are close to the ones quoted for the DLH one.

PRICES
May 1, 2015 - September 30, 2015 - $63.00 CAD per person.
October 1, 2015 to April 30, 2016 - $53.00 CAD per person.
Children 12 and younger may choose the regular Afternoon Tea menu at 50% off the adult price, or enjoy our Prince and Princess Tea Menu.

Well, here in Hawaii, it's like $75 minimum, and $145/per person for the deluxe. $40 isn't too bad compared to that!

Shoot....wish they had ala carte....I can't eat most of the food, but love going to teas.

Thank you! This is my Rapid Fire for this coming week's show. :)

We paid $60+ for classic tea at the Empress, so I'm glad that the prices aren't more than this.

I just got off the phone with a cast member, so either they are still tweaking the prices, or the cast members haven't been given clear information. The premium was given to me as $65, so it may be $60, or $65, or ..., when they are done deciding. AP's discounts apply, and each person can choose classic or premium. They don't have to be the same 'package' for the entire party. (These questions came up in a group I'm in, so thought I would post it here. :) )

Both my DDs and I go to the Afternoon Tea in WDW every trip while DH goes and does something else (it is our girls only tradition). I am so excited to see that Disneyland will be doing one as well. The price does seem pretty steep for the Classic Tea package, but I will still be making a reservation for our June trip :goodvibes.

This sounds perfect, I hope it works out! I remember afternoon teas as a little girl with my mother on cruise ships and it was an absolute highlight of my day! Hope you have a wonderful time.

Now that you mention it, I think the CM also told me $65 for the Premium, but I wrote $60.
Off to edit. Thanks for the follow up!

I'm definitely in for this on Valentines' Weekend - We love Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian for all of our Disney World trips and now we can do one close to home.

So awesome. :jumping1:

I'm bummed that this won't be ready to go on Star Wars Half Marathon weekend. I would have taken my daughter after her Anna & Elsa Boutique appointment. Oh well, better for my pocketbook!

I did book the PTN package, though. I called yesterday and they had no idea when they would start taking reservations. Guess it was today! ;-)
