Hello everyone,

I'll be at Walt Disney World with some friends in august. We plan to visit the Magic Kingdom during a day with evening extra magic hours. According to TP, this date is considered as a 9 crowd level, and the parks will close at 2am.:scared:

Since we already know by heart the French resort (we are passholders for years), we have therefore decided to arrive at the Magic Kingdom around 2pm and to mainly focus on attractions and areas that are different from the parisian park. We have fastpasses for the 7 dwarfs Mine, Space Mountain and Splash Mountain. We also have an ADR for Be Our Guest at 10:40 pm and we want to see both parades.

My question is, do you think we'll stil have enough time to enjoy the park in general and to ride 4-5 other attractions, including POCT, Haunted Mansion, Philarmagic, plus some meet and greets ? Since we want to enjoy the park at night, I think we'll leave around 1am, which will give us already 11 hours in a row inside the park. Is it enough considering the crowds ? These days, the crowds seem lighter than expected...

Thanks for you help !;)

Yes, if you're going to get there at 2pm and stay until 2am (or close to it), you'll get on just about as much as you want. You've got some great FP+ already. Once you use those up, grab another one. Afternoons and evenings are the busiest, but the park will start to clear out to a degree after the parades and fireworks. We were there for a midnight closing and from 11:00pm until 11:50pm, when we left, it was nearly a ghost town, we rode pretty much anything we wanted with no wait. Philharmagic rarely gets a big line, so that's a mid-day thing to me...especially to get out of the heat.

My strategy would be to use the FP+ and grab more as I can. Hit the less crowded stuff mid-day (Philharmagic, Stitch, Laugh Floor, PeopleMover, etc...) during the peak of the day, then start working toward the more crowded rides that you don't have FP+ for as the night gets later.

Thanks for you answer. I'm so relieved! On some boards, members told me I needed to be prepared for at least 90min on each attraction all day long, including Philarmagic. I thought it was crazy !

Plus it didn't really match the data and the wait times I saw on TP and the official app since the beginning of June.

Even during Christmas week I went from Epcot to MK for EMH and it was a ghost town the whole time. Rode SM with only a 5 min wait if that.
