My parents did the same thing - AFTER my brother and I moved out they put on another addition, got a 52" plasma TV (which cost nearly as much as my WEDDING!!! Dads - gotta love them!) and they are getting a hot tub next summer.

thankfully I live close by - 45 minutes away and I can visit!

to post pictures
go sign up for an account at imagestation.com (I've found this works best)
upload your photos from your computer to there (either scan in photos or do direct digital) (the site will explain how)
once they are up there. 'right click' on them and scroll down to "Properties"
There will be an Address (URL) that begins HTTP://blah blah blah - highlight the whole thing and CTL-C (copy) it.

come back to the DIS...click on the IMG button (above where you write your messages) and CTL-V (paste) the link into the box that pops up.

voila!

I came home to find the footings done and the walls starting to go up . Our house is a 3 bedroom raised ranch with one bathroom (for 5 people ). It is in a great neighborhood, and we bought it 18 years ago when prices were really low. My DH is a contractor, which means our projects get done last We are adding a garage bay, a master suite, and a large walk in closet for me the kids rooms will end up bigger as well. I'm just happy that we will have more than one bathrom

we raised the roof 2yrs after we bought/had this house made
Originally the house was made with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths on the main floor
We added on 2 more bedrooms and a 3rd bath upstairs when we raised the roof 2yrs after buying the original house
there are 3 of us living in this house - there have often been times we are thankful for the 3rd bathroom
