I have decided to become a tourist attraction, the idea came to me when most of my ideas come to me, when I'm trying to sleep. The left or "logical" side of my brain says "time for sleep Ran" while the right or "kinked slinky" side of my brain says" hey Ran let's put on the viking hat and tell jokes to the dog" usually the center or "the place that gets the headache" part of the brain gets the two halves to reach a compromise in which the left side gets to lie "or possibly lay" down while the right gets to think of fun and unusual ways to keep the left side up all night.
Anyhoo, one night recently while my left side was yawning my right said (out loud) "hey let's put on a pirate hat and become a tourist attraction" as you can guess the left and center parts plus me all agreed this was rather silly except for the tourist attraction part which is why I am now proud to announce...{fanfare}
The Old Ran of the Mountains

as some of you may know, we in NH suffered a grievous loss last May when our beloved Old Man of the Mountains tumbled into history.What you may not know is the various ideas being bandied about to pay homage to this fallen symbol of NH. So far not one of these ideas has included me!! which is why I'm the perfect solution. Not only do I symbolize everything a great tourist attraction should symbolize but I also look great in granite. Naturally there's a price for every great idea but I'm sure you can afford it. Make those checks and money orders out to: The Old Ran of the Mountains Foundation(sounds official huh?) Third house in the swamp, Conway New Hampshire .Thanks
PS in the case of my untimely or even timely demise I'm grooming Stan as a replacement so you can rest easy
