When you do one of the after hours parties at MK or AK, are the lines from day guest cleared by the 7PM start time?

Anytime there's an after hours event (DAH or hard ticketed party like MNSSHP or MVMCP) cast members will clear the parks of non-party/event guests by the time the party officially begins. There may be a handful of stragglers in the gift shops but they aren't allowed to be in ride lines or dining areas.

None of the Disney After Hours parties at any park start at 7pm, that is just what time guests with event tickets are allowed in the park.

But no, guests aren’t really cleared at park closing for the DAH events, it’s more like PM EMHs which depend on natural attrition and checking credentials at each ride entrance. Guests are cleared for MK Villains After Hours events at the event start time - that event acts more like MNSSHP or MVMCP in terms of park clearing efforts at the event start time.

They don’t clear the park on a DAH night. We went through less crowded attractions at the beginning of the event. That gave time for lines at attractions like SDMT to clear out the day guests.
