After hours lift?

So I read on another thread that if you are out on Disney property past the time the buses run, that security can arrange a free ride back to your hotel? Someone said that if you are out really late, and the buses aren't running or somesuch, then walk up to the nearest security booth and tell them you are satying on property and can they help you get a lift home. They would call some security vehicle to take you?

I would think they would just offer to call a cab company for you, so this sounded too goodt o be true. Any word?

I ask because hubby and I are night owls, and the possibility of staying at DTD until close and then taking a stroll doesn't sound off the mark.

The actual Pleasure Island buses will run till about 2:15 am. The Pleasure Island folks will usher the last folks out of Pleasure Island and then will signal all clear to the Transportation Folks, and a couple of buses will take those few night (er, early AM) owls back to their resorts.

So unless you plan on strolling well past Pleasure Island closing, then you should have no problem getting a bus back to your resort.

In my experience it is really hard to stay at PI until 2am, although I have done it once. The last shows usually end at about 12:30 and last call is at 1:00 or 1:30, so unless you are with some friends and are chatting the morning away, you could start your strolling after last call and get to the bus stop in plenty of time.
