After Hours Fall?

So we are hoping to go back to WDW in 2021. We want to do some Halloween stuff and are hoping to get the free dining (UK). However, we love After Hours events.
Historically, what are they like for September and October? Has anyone been? We are thinking of two weeks end of Sep and the first week of October in the hope to see some 50th stuff. Thanks!
