Has anyone ever had success checking with the ticket office on the day of an after hours event for last minute tickets? I don’t have time during my trip to visit MK during the daytime, and I am absolutely gutted that I missed the booking window for the last after hours event.

Yes, unfortunately this event is sold completely out.

A sold out party at Disney is sold out. Tickets do not normally become available except in extremely rare situations (eg hurricane anticipated so guests cancelling trips.)

You can always ask but I would anticipate you will hear the same message.

Sold out usually does not have any tickets for sale prior to the date (rare exceptions like Boo Bash when they re-opened sold out dates). The best but still small chance is trying on the party date. We’ve been to events that sold out in advance but then had ‘Tickets on Sale’ signs at the front of park early in the day.

Are you staying onsite? Some people have had luck asking at the front desk day of party.

In either case it depends on availability. I’ve only heard of success day-of. Not sure what the likelihood is though, just that WDW sometimes predicts lower attendance than tickets sold and will sell tickets that day. There is a policy that unused tickets can be used as credits on future ticket purchases, or moved to different date, etc. Internally they probably have some way to roughly gauge how many no-shows are expected. Between that and inclement weather, sometimes they decide more tickets can be sold.
