After Hours Event Question

I purchased the After Hours Event for 08/30. I will have a park hopper and will be visiting DHS in the morning. I know the After Hours ticket gets me in the MK at 7, but I can really go at any time using my hopper. If I get there before 7, would I have to go back to the entrance to check in for the party or could I get my wrist band if I come earlier?

Yes you can go earlier then 7 with park hopper. And when I went you had to go to the front to get you laynard

I was able to get in "early" with my park hopper...no issue. But I did have to go back to the entrance area to pick up my lanyard (not a wrist band) about 45 mins or so before the official start time. I had heard that you could pickup the lanyards elsewhere but that didn't appear to be true...at least last year.

There has been a pick up spot for the lanyards around the old Stitch attraction. Not sure if there are others or not.

New for these summer DAH events... they have added lanyard pick-up stations in the park. For prior events, most reported having to go all the way back to the front.

As @AngiTN noted, one of the inside the park scan/lanyard points is to the left of the Stich entrance by the FP kiosks. There is another one too but I'm blanking at the moment, let me see if I can find it.

Update for Summer 2018 DAH Dates: Disney has started setting up a few lanyard pick-up station inside the parks. Locations include POTC and the FP Kiosk to the left of the Stitch entrance, and maybe a few others.
