In case anyone is interested, I just found out that you can drop-off a Hertz rental car after hours at the Sanford Airport. This is a big deal for me because we usually rent from Dollar and I had reserved an Intermediate car for 6/18 - 6/29 at the weekly rate of $163 but I would have to drop off the car during normal operating hours for their rental desk. This was inconvenient since we have a 6:45 a.m. departing flight home and I would have to return the car the day before we depart and take a taxi to the airport the following morning.
Yesterday I just got a better rate from Hertz ($139 weekly rate thru my corporate account) and I spoke to the local desk in the airport and they said they have a 'drop box' at the counter for after hours returns! This is a great load off my mind and will make our trip to the airport much less stressful.
