We are going on the Disney Dream this weekend and Halloween on the High seas cruise is over, but Merrytime Cruise doesn’t start until next weekend. So my question is - what will we have for decor? Do they literally put everything away in between or perhaps use our cruise as a staging weekend for Merrytime? Anyone ever experienced this weekend in between before?

Typically, there's one cruise between Halloween and Very MerryTime cruises. Just standard decor and activities. On occasion there isn't that one week between. It depends on how the dates fall from year to year.

They may start putting up some of the MerryTime decorations during your cruise. But, yes, the Halloween decoration can come down very quickly. And the MerryTime ones can be put up fairly quickly.

We disembarked two years ago from the Magic on November 1. As we were leaving they were tearing down Halloween decorations and putting up the Christmas tree in the Atrium.

The one thing that may be up early is the gingerbread house. It does take some time to put together. But it smells great.

You should have the beauty of the ship in all her glory.

I was on an in between sailing on the Dream a few years ago. There were a few Christmas decorations up and they were building the gingerbread house. As soon as we docked at PC they started bringing TONS of stuff onto the ship to set up.

We were on the Fantasy a couple of years ago on the November cruise before the Very MerryTime cruises started. The only thing that was put up during our cruise was the gingerbread house, but it was very, very fun to watch. Each day the chefs would be out painstakingly putting it together and decorating. It truly takes several days of work going on all day long and was completed on the day before our cruise ended. It did smell wonderful and was so much fun to walk by each day to see the progress. As we disembarked they were loading the ship with gobs of decorations. Hope you have a great time!
