We've done the before party, back when there was only one party, and we're doing the after party next month for the first time.

Not much to talk about really. Just like the before party except you watch fireworks first then head over to the dessert buffet.

I did this in March and loved it. The Cheeseburger Egg Rolls are super yummy even though they sounds weird. For us it was nice to get a spot in the garden area and not feel rushed thru desserts. I figure you aren't going anywhere fast after the fireworks anyway so why not have some desserts.

That was my thought too!! Hopefully the bus queue will be calmed down by the time I get out there.

We did the after party last October, doing it again in May. I much prefer it over the before. You get to the garden area earlier and we didn’t feel rushed to hurry through desserts like we did with the before party. It’s nice to sit back and relax while the park thins out. I don’t think we’ll ever do the before party again.

We booked the after party for our upcoming trip and are very excited about it. We figure to use park time for rides while people are saving spots for the fireworks. Then hunker down and snack while hoards of people are queuing for transportation back to their resorts.
Last year we almost didn’t have a spot to watch the show from the front of the castle to see the projections it was sooooo crowded. Shoulder to shoulder people everywhere. Don’t want to be in that mass of hot and sweaty, crankiness again. I was shocked at the crowds waiting for the show! Didn’t expect that at all and it was quite overwhelming. Granted, we waited too long to find a spot for the show, about 30 minutes which I now know is not enough time. But the size of the crowd was absolutely immense. Just didn’t see that coming. And don’t want to be in that this time. We are going at the same time this year as last so are expecting to see the same level of crowds.
I would totally do any of the dessert parties for HEA, but chose this one for the better view, and for waiting out the crowds leaving the park.
