at 9am when the park opens is it possible to do HM, POC and JC then head to breakfast or would that be cutting it close. breakfast ends at 10am

IMO I think that MAY be cutting it a bit too close. If you try it, I’d stay flexible in case it doesn’t work. Be ready to bail on the last one if needed.
For some context, we once did BTMR, Splash, and HM and barely made it back to breakfast by 10AM. And we were moving pretty darn quick (eg, speed walking) at RD to BTMR. A minute or two here and there and we wouldn’t have made it.
This is good to know. My loose plans are to do HM then see if we have time for BTMR before getting breakfast. But I don't know how fast we will be going. BTMR might be too far for us to hustle.
Interesting so I was going to do the extra CL FP’s plus EMM on day 1. But it sounds like when the park opens at 9:00, I’ll have no problem if I want to do HM, IASW and Grotto on top of SDMT, PP and Pooh. Sounds like no need to waste FP’s on those other FantasyLand rides.
My opinion - you can certainly cover some ground in that first 45-60 minutes of park time if you put your mind to it. It’s a good opportunity to knock out at least a few rides, which can then help save your FPs for later.
My advice is to eat about 20 minutes prior to rope drop. We have done EMM twice and you can literally walk right off 7DMT and walk right back on it again. You will be riding everything over and over again. We found that it worked out best to eat about 15-20 minutes before rope drop (honestly, we were actually TIRED of doing the same rides over and over again and were ready for a break) and then head to all the rides you mentioned in your post at rope drop. We had basically no wait at all for any of those three rides. We were able to do everything we wanted to do in the park by late morning/early afternoon. After doing EMM twice I would feel like going back to eat around 10:00 would be a waste of valuable time that you could be spending on secondary attractions while everyone else in the park is doing the headliners. You won't be missing out on anything if you eat prior to rope drop. After doing 7DMT 8 times in row you won't feel like you didn't get your money's worth if you don't do it 9 times before rope drop.
