After COVID Questions

Good afternoon,

So during the Pandemic we let our AP's go, as hard of a decision as it was, and the right decision, we are trying now to get them back (waiting on GS to contact me). I have several questions that I know my DIS Board friends will be able to help me with. Here we go:

1. When I look at availability if we stay on site, MK nor HS has any availability for the 8 days we would be there (staying on property), however, if you look at AP availability, there is availability for all parks every day, so if you are an AP holder staying on property, how far in advance can you book reservations for a park?

2. Right now, there are only two parks available, SSR and AOA, I like both resorts, so no worries there, does lack of availability for the resorts mean the parks will be overly crowded?

3. Is there a list somewhere (I am sure there is) that list what restaurants are still closed?

4. We are FL residents, so we could get the 4 day FL resident ticket, but with that ticket, we know we couldn't get into MK or HS, so that just doesn't seem to be an option right now.

Thanks everyone for help, and hopefully we will get to go in June.

It'll be easier for you to find what's open. The Disney website and MDE app can help here.

The fact that there is no park reservation availability is a good indication that the theme parks will be crowded. The fact that many resorts are unavailable is confirmation of that fact, but less relevant in itself.

If you go to the dining page on disneyworld.com, https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/ it will first list all open restaurants in alphabetical order, then list all those that are "temporarily unavailable."

You can make a park reservation as long as you have valid ticket media, for any date through 2022. The only restriction for APs is a limit of 3 theme park reservations without an onsite stay. If you have an onsite stay, the default is the "resort" bucket and you'll need to call to book park reservations from the AP bucket.
