Did anyone hit them up today???

I stocked up on some gift bags, tags, bows and wrapping paper for next year. :thumbsup2

My DD also had a $25 gc to spend and Walmart and she was able to get great deals on 2 barbie sets she wanted! One was $11 (normally $22.97!) and the other was $12.50 (normally $25.97!). :woohoo:

Not today...but I plan on heading out tomorrow.:thumbsup2 I just didn't have the desire to fight the crowd today. I had all sorts of intentions of getting up and at em' early today and fizzled out. I don't have anything that I absolutely NEED so I am going to head out tomorrow and see what I can find.

That's how it always works for me...when I try to find great deals I can't seem to come across any...but when I'm casually looking I'll probably find tons of things but just don't want to spend all the cash to get it all.:rotfl2:

I'm hoping to find some things that are "Christmas" but can be substituted around the house for regular decor after I spray paint them or doctor them up in my typical DIY style.:goodvibes

We went to .99 store . All CHristmas stuff was .49 we bought several packs of money/giftcard holders, 2 nutcracker decorations, 5-6 mini cupcake 2 tier holders

wal-mart- all 50% we bought box of santa stake lights(5 in a box for outdoors), white gift boxes, xmas decorated gift boxes, tags, tissue paper, LED shhot star LED stake lights for outdoors, cute tin kinda like popcorn tin but it hold pretzels, cheese balls, and thick cheetos puffs

Target- nothing

what Barbie's were they? We were looking at Spa Barbie and they had tons before Christmas.

I went to B&BW and got the soap I needed and a few body wash. I also got a beautiful tree candle holder for $10 and a ton of the mini candles to use with it.
HEB (grocery store) and World market for the cookie pans and the candy mold I have been wanting but not willing to spend full price on. Also picked up a bunch of treat boxes for next year.
At Target I got more than enough wrapping paper for next year, curling ribbon and bows, dish towels, garland, a tree topper, storage boxes, a set of lighted branches, some desk top decorations, more baking hardware, and a cute set of 12 Day of Christmas ornaments.
And at Micheal's I got some ribbon for the tree, a storage box for our ornaments, a cute wall sign, and a candy bark set that I wanted.
I think that's it! lol All in all I spent a lot more than I planed but we are set for the next year or two with paper and treat boxes and the baking hardware lasts forever.
It did seam silly that I bought all this stuff then packed it all up!

I ended up stopping at JoAnn Fabrics today and checked out the Christmas clearance aisle. There was only half of an aisle of things left and they were all in bad shape - very picked over, many things missing parts or otherwise damaged. Ribbons all bent. Needless to say I didn't get anything.

I am thinking of going out to Pier 1 tomorrow. They had some ornaments I was interested in getting so maybe they'll have some left.

Barnes and Nobles had select Legos for 50% off (the red sticker ones) along with calendars for next year so we picked up one of each.

At Target we found Furbies 50% off (DD was soooo excited), and bought a few little stocking stuffer thingies. DH was most excited about these huge Reece's peanut cups that were also 50% off.

Michaels was great, tons of Christmas stuff 70% off. I'm going to head back tomorrow to finish grabbing some more Wilton cookie cutters and browse the wrapping paper.

Went to Target, Joanns and Yankee Candle today. Joanns really didn't have anything. Yankee Candle had a good amount of stuff, but I only bought one candle since I order stuff online when the sale started on Monday. Target still had a good amount of stuff when I got there around lunchtime. They were still bringing out overstock of a lot of holiday items. I didn't get too much, some wrapping paper, candy and a few ornament sets. I could have bought a lot more, but resisted. I may check out another Target tomorrow and see what they have left.

Strangely enough...HyVee. I found their 75% off holiday decor, candy & toys. Got the Skylander Starter Set with backpack for $23.99. Now I wish I had looked around more!

I went to Walmart and Walgreen's today. At Walmart I found some suprises for upcoming disney trip. Princess nails $1.49, Bell Lip Gloss $1.00. At Walgreen's I found a Doc McStuffins and her Dragon for 4.99. They are cute stuffed beanie bag type toys. I figured I would start buying little things for DD and then give them to her on the trip. :)

I had to run to Target tonight & checked out the clearance. I picked up some cookie & fudge mixes marked 50% off. We'll be making some this weekend and it's always handy to keep a few in the pantry when the kids have friends over. A lot of the edible items were pretty picked over.

I had an issue with Target and exp dates this year. I bought a box of Snickerdoodle mix last week for a last minute school request. The box had expired Oct 2012! I returned it and found 7 more boxes the same dates. :sad2:

There was a lot left in the ornament/decorating section but nothing I needed. I did get 2 packages of gel snowflakes that DD can stick on her dorm windows. I need wrapping paper but I'm waiting to check more prices first. I will be shopping w/my mom & DD in the next few days and don't expect that to run out.

I hit target and walmart stocked up on Kleenex with christmas design, zip lock, paper towels and plates and cups all solid red!! great for Vals day and we use a lot of paper good here!! was Happy also got a trunk organizer and some nice headphones wrapping stuff and some candy!! gonna watch for 75 percent and get candy for the val parties at school!! I also will buy to donate to teachers and pass out goodie bags to homeless!! ( I will fill a bag with clearance items and hand on street ).

I'll be heading to Target today too! I have a $50 gift card to there that is begging to be spent!!!
I would have been already if it wasn't 45 minutes away!! :faint:

I went to WalMart this afternoon and got a few kids bath sets (to save for Easter baskets), I also found a super deal on the deodorant I use. It is the degree clinical. It was a gift set with two deodorants and a shampoo for $2.50. The deodorant alone runs close to $8! I looked for 30 minutes for another set but could not find it. Lol

I had to go to Target for work yesterday and for a nice Thank You card so while there I looked at Christmas stuff, I got a few gift bags, some tissue paper (some was all white, no idea why they clearance all white tissue paper but it sure helps me out LOL), 2 packs of sugar cookie mix and 4 boxes of Lick A Stick candy, all for half off. I was hoping for some gift boxes but they didn't have the kind I wanted so I passed. :)

All of Pier 1's Christmas decor is 50% off; my shift is Saturday so I'll stock up on some things then; I get an additional 25% off the sale price

At Walmart I got some perfume gift sets, Charlie Brown Christmas tree, and Jersey Shore Christmas ornaments (Pauly D and Snooki).
