After Christmas letdown

Oh yeh, I know exactly what you are talking about. For months you plan, buy gifts, wrap them, bake goodies, so on and then boom Christmas day gets here. Then in a blink of an eye it is all over with -within a matter of hours. Then you sit there looking at all of this mess at the end of day and wonder. What now?

All the excitement just fades away.

I'm a bit sad once its all over but I consider it to be all over by the end of today. All day long on Christmas we watch new dvd's, play new games, try on new clothes, etc. Then the next day (today) my mom and I go shopping for all of our Christmas mayhem for next year!! Woohooo!

This afternoon It will hit me that it's all over. But till then I enjoy every second. It helps that New years is coming up and it's my birthday so I have something else to look forward to every year!
