Okay, we are staying at Boardwalk--check in is not until 4. We want to hit MK immediately, but can we park at our resort? Since we won't have been able to check in yet, is there a way to go ahead and park? Thanks for any info!

My kids do not know much. So far they haven't talked about doing anything specific! I think I am going to check in, hit MK and then dinner @ Chef Mickeys. We'll head home and try to catch the the water parade.

Check to see if there is any chance that a room is ready early. It does happen. If someone had a early morning flight home then they would be checking out early also. The real early checkouts are sometimes the first to be cleaned. You might just get lucky and get in before you thought anyway.If you are staying on property they will hold your bags for you at the check in desk and call you on your cell when your room in ready.

Okay, thanks, Mickey&Minnie! I knew it had to be okay to enter our resort and then parks even if we cannot check in.

As long as it's not raining, we spend the first day at the pool (we stay at the Beach Club all the time). Then we go to the Cape May Buffet for dinner. We're usually so tired from getting up at 4AM, traveling, etc. we save the parks for another day. We've been to Disney many, many times, so the parks are secondary to us now.

We usually arrive around 1-2 PM, but after getting up at 5 or 6 AM we do not want to go run around the park. Instead we like to get settled in the room, check the view, unpack, and flip on some sandals. Then we head over to Goodings and grab snacks & provisions. Sometimes we hop on the monorail and do the resort loop. Later on we go to dinner and go to bed early to be rested for the next day.

We've done DTD, We LOVE looking at the different resorts, too! Disney has a couple different put put places too that are kinda fun. My youngest loves that, it gets the wiggles out!
