After another P&S reccomendation

Sorry, I know these questions get asked alot, but I want to buy a new P&S which is waterproof and can shoot in RAW.

Does anyone know of any?

I do not think this exists.

However a Canon Hack Development Kit beta download is available for the Canon D10. Would likely void waranty...


A Canon S95 and a waterproof case would be great.

I also think the Canon D20 is out but I am not sure about the hack availabilty on that. photokina is soon. maybe someone will announce something?

What do you plan to do with it? Some waterproof cameras will leak in a pool, some you can scuba dive with. Sealife makes a great underwater point and shoot if that's what you're looking for. If you just want something to splash in the pool with or use in the rain and really want RAW then consider getting an Aquapac to put on whatever point and shoot you want.

There are P&S cameras that shoot RAW. My Nikon P7000 (now P7100) and the Canon G12 are two that come to mind. They aren't waterproof, but you can find underwater housings for them. Not inexpensive, though.
