After a month of calling I got FD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have called everyday for the past month--sometimes 2/3 times a day. I did my AM routine, entered the one more day sweepstakes & called Disney. My first impression of the CM was not very friendly but I asked the question I've asked for the past month "looking to make 3 reservations for August 8th & wondering if I have a pin attached to my name". Well MUCH to my surprise she said "I THINK SO". I was hardly paying attention since I expected the same answer I rec'd last night. I SCREAMED!

So I made 3 reservations for August 8-15th with FREE dining! I am SOOOOO happy!!!!



I also splurged & booked the Poly CL GV (room only) with my airline discount for August 5 & 6th (my sons graduation surprise) & now Free Dining! Its going to be a GREAT trip!!!!!!!!

Big time congrats!!! I'm afraid to call and ask if we have a FD Pin. The temptation would be too great not to book a late May after school trip.

OMG-That's TEEEE-RIFIC!!!! I just called last night again, and although I do have the 30% pin which I booked under, no FD yet. Gots me fingers crossed though!!

We are going the same dates and already booked. Last year, I called and had my trip readjusted after receiving a pin in snail mail. Do you think I too should play the game with wide and call to check in?

Thank-you for posting that you we're able to get the free Dining for early August. We are also planning a trip for mid-August and I thought that it would be impossible to get free dining for then. We called this evening and we were able to get free dining. We booked at a moderate resort and we had to upgrade to the regular dining from quick service though but we prefer the sit down meals. We are so excited. I love the Disboards. I learn so much from reading it.

Since you waited to book your reservations until you got the FD - do you think that was the difference? I suppose there's no way of knowing. I'm booked for close to your dates but I called before and since booking, but alas, no pixie dust Oddly, the CM will recommend I check back in a week or so.....

But I'm encouraged reading your good news so I'm going to stop feeling like a pest and guilty for continuing to call to check.
