Hello Everyone!!!

Can anyone tell me if there's such a thing as an after 4pm ticket? or half day ticket? Just curious ;)

Thank you and have a Disney day!

Jocelyn

Unfortunately, no. You pay the same whether you enter at 8am or 8pm.

I think there is something that FL residents can get for Epcot only because of all of the restaurants there, but the only other tickets I know of are ones sold through conventions where people attend the convention during the day and get a discounted pass for the evenings.

I was wondering the same thing. Just curious though how have people been getting tickets for $5 at check in. Unless I read that wrong. I could've sworn I read on another post that they were offered $5 tickets for the day at check in. Our flight gets in at 3 and assuming that it will take ME at least an hour to an hour and a half to get to POP, getting us there at 4:30. After we check in we would like to go to both EPCOT and Boardwalk.

Thank you so much for the quick responses! You are GREAT!
I love the DIS :)

perhaps what they meant was that they decided to add a day onto their multi day ticket because they arrived earlier than expected. Once you got past so many days (4 or 5, I think ) adding a day used to only be about $5, but I think it's more around $8 now.

I've seen them offered for convention goers at Disney's hotel and the ones by DTD (specifically at the Buena Vista Palace, back in 2006).

These tickets exist, but only in the form of a convention ticket. There is an after 2pm one as well. In order to get a convention ticket, your resort reservation must be linked to a convention code. These tickets are also between $50-$70 and must be bought individually, so they're really useless for folks with park tickets who can upgrade their tickets for much less than that and get a whole day. In short, they're great for convention guests who only have one evening free for a park, but not useful for you average guest.

$8 is still pretty cheap. I'm trying to see the price difference between 5 & 6 day base tickets and I'm being shown that 5 days is N/A. I don't know if I should wait till we get there or add before. Since we arrive at resort probably around 4:30 or 5 will there be any point of even going. We want to have a little longer to do EPCOT because of the F&W. We never seem to be able to complete it in 1 day and thats when F&W is not on.

No idea why the site says "N/A", but if you look at the difference between 4 day and 6 day it is $16 (pre-tax), so I would assume that a 5 day is only $8 less than the 6 day. As for whether or not it is worth it, you can hit up the park with the latest hours that day and since you are an on-site guest then you can go to the park with evening EMH.you can always wait to add it, just be sure to do it by the last day left on the ticket. That way if you get delayed you wouldn't have spent the money unnecessarily.

To the OP if you have regular MYW tickets, with or without the PH, and it is a 4 day or more ticket. Its only $8 to add a day. The only issue is that the max day a ticket can ever have is 10.

There are some tickets that you can't upgrade

  • tickets more than 14 day from first use with the Non Expire option
  • some military tickets
  • YES tickets
  • Comp tickets of any length.

there may be more

Did you post your post in the right thread?:rotfl:

Yes I was explaining how to get an extra day of tickets for this "after 4pm entry".

Many people post this question because they buy a 4 day ticket and realize that they will be in WDW around 4:00 PM and want to hit a park but don't want to "waste" a ticket. They generally don't under stand how the tickets work and just know they spent say $250 for that 4 day ticket and think each day costs $ 62.50 ($250 divided by 4) and its not worth it.

But since that day is only $8 it usually is worth it. I listed the tickets that can't be upgraded just in case since I see a lot more military salute and YES ticket questions.

I guess I could have asked what they really want to do but like I said most people that ask already have a multiday ticket. Not just looking to go to one park after 4:00.

Not sure why you responded this way. Their post certainly answers questions posted in post #5.

Because she specifically stated it was to the OP (original poster) and the person in post 5 didn't really ask about upgrading anything other than a normal package ticket, and already had his issue resolved.

ETA: Just saw chartle's subsequent post. I wasn't trying to be snarky AT ALL. I was just making sure the help was going to the right person. Sorry if it came across that way.

I was also clarifying the cost of the upgrade.

I added the rest because like I posted most people really want to add a day to their tickets not buy a one day after 4:00 PM ticket.

Also you could be referring to one of the Party tickets. MNSSHP or MVMCP tickets are good starting at 4 PM the day you have reserved. :thumbsup2

The only after 4 ticket that's available is to Florida Residents for Epcot.
