A few co-workers and I will be attending a convention and want to buy "After 2pm" tickets- one day at Epcot and one day at MK.

Any good strategies to get the most out of our time without being too commando and scaring the bejesus out of the 2 first-timers that will be traveling with me?

For Epcot, get a Soarin fastpass first then see about the lines for Mission Space and Test Track. If they are short, ride them. If not, hit all the other rides you want to do/do the big park circle until you are eligible for a new fastpass. Get one for Test Track if you have not been on it yet the moment the system will let you.

I second Tiggerguy. Soarin will have the longest waits all day and therefore a fastpass will be a must. I have found that Mission Space never has more than a 25 minute wait it seems even during busier park seasons, so I usually dont mind waiting in line for that one. The Test Track also has a single rider option which is much faster than waiting in the actual line, but if you would all like to ride together, I would save Test Track for later in the day/night when the crowds start to fizzle or when you are able to get another fast pass if one is still available.

After getting those Soarin fast passes, I would just head to Honey I Shrunk the Audience, because since it is a big theater you should have no problem getting in right away or close to right away. Then hit up the World Showcase and whatever interests you there. I always make sure I do the Spaceship Earth on the way out of the park. You can usually walk right on at that point. Hope this helps some. Have a great trip.

They are arranged for the benefit of Convention visitors.

Here's Cheshire Figment's everything about tickets-

There are three types of Convention tickets. These are only available to people who are attending conventions held on WDW. Normally purchase is via a web link provided by Disney through the convention's web site for pre-purchase, or sometimes at the convention itself. Verification of Convention attendance is required.

"After 2:00" allows admission to one park per day after 2:00pm. These tickets may not be upgraded.

"After 4:00" allows admission to one park per day after 4:00pm. These tickets may not be upgraded.

"Multi-day MYW Convention Base Ticket" is about a 10% savings from the regular MYW prices and includes, in addition to the major parks, one Pleasure Island Multi-Club entry.
