Okay, so we got home Friday, caught up on some sleep, plowed through the thousand or so work e-mails that accumulated and pulled together most of the pictures we took among our four phones and my Fuji SLR camera. I'm going to try to post some of the highlights (not sure how many photos I can attach to a post?).

Pictures truly didn't do this trip justice, but we did get some great pics regardless. I'll go location by location.

Boteti River (Laroo La Tau Camp):

Random bird we thought was pretty (I'm no bird expert):

Moremi Game Reserve (Camp Xakanaka):

Impala (we'd end up seeing thousands of these by the end of the trip):

Apparently, 10 pics is the max...

Really cool, thanks for sharing. Was this difficult to get set up or was it a sort of package and everything was set up for you?

We went through a travel agent based out of Cape Town. We went through about 8 iterations before we came to a final itinerary, but everything was all booked for us, including all the transportation (except for our flights to/from Johannesburg). It was not cheap at all, but at least the vast majority of things were all inclusive on the package (except tips). We paid for dinner the two nights in Johannesburg and paid for the helicopter ride and entrance to Victoria Falls park, but otherwise everything else was included.

Sounds like a spectacular trip with awesome family memories. Not much more you can ask for beyond that.

Thanks for sharing your photos and experiences with all of us.

Great pictures. I have wanted to go to Africa, this may be my motivation to get something booked for next summer!

What a trip there, SD!! I enjoyed your small trip reports as you went along, and then now, all these additional photos. Nature is beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing your bucket list trip with us.

(not sure how many photos I can attach to a post?).
As for the number, forever and a day it had been 20, then for some reason reduced to 10. Corey recently bumped it to 30 now.

Thanks again, SD.

ETA...Did you feel safe at all times and everywhere?

One more....Are any of the areas that you visited endangered as it's natural habitat and environment?
