African Childrens Choir

If you want to help a wonderful organization - check out the African Childrens Choir.

They came to our church last night and sang - and they are amazing!
6,000 children have received help and education from this organization.

They are from Uganda and they tour the US and the money they make goes back home to help. Many of the choir members are orphans - their parents died of Aids or other illnesses.

We have 4 girls in our home and they are the most amazing children!

I know this sounds like a sales pitch - I am sorry. But I have been truly moved by the courage of these children! So, if you are looking for a way to help - go to their website! There is a schedule of where they will be - they are touring the country and see if they are coming to your area! You, I promise, will not be disappointed!

Had the privilege of hearing and meeting those children a while ago and was truly touched by their stories. We ended up getting the CD and Video just as a memory. And yes, if you can donate, please consider doing it in lieu of gift giving - you are giving a child a chance at life rather than another toy or knickknack!

We are going to be a friend of the choir...you can give a monthly donation that is used for education, medical needs, food, clothing, etc. for the families in Africa.
