Has anyone heard of or used this website? I have finally convinced my best friend and her husband to take a WDW vacation next year. She asked me about this site. It seems you buy an "ebook", which will tell you how to save big money on your Disney accomodations and attractions. My gut instinct is to say "no way". I can't tell how much this "ebook" will cost them, and I am leery of anyone saying they can provide discounts to Disney attractions. Has anyone tried this website before? Any opinions? The website is www.affordabledisney.com.
I am trying my best to convince her that she should stay onsite, but she's trying to save money. Any help would be appreciated.

I would not do it. Because all the information can be found for free on these boards.

Check out boards Orlando and attactions and Resorts to find discounts.

They have legimate discounts for tickets and hotel rooms.

Examples: ticketmaina.com

hotelkingdom.com

I hope that helps.

I just checked out this website, and to me it looks like a waste of money. You can get the same information at mousesavers.com and wdwig.com (walt disney world information guide). Both of these sites have newsletters you can subscribe to that give you discount information.

I also checked out books from the public library. Ours had several 2003 versions if you requested them.

I agree that staying on site is the way to go. You could do a value hotel or check into discounts at the Swan/Dolphin. Dreams Unlimited also has discount packages.

Well I really hate to slam something but in this case don't waste your money. I purchased it two years ago and never have used it very much. All the information I have found was also on Mousavers and it is free there. I don't remeber how much I paid but it was a membership for lifetime. Again this is my own opinion and I am sure that there is others who would disagree with me.
I did purchase Tour Guide Mike and it has been a great resource and planning tool for my trip this Dec and am going to be renewing it for my tirp in Dec 2004. I would recommend this over the other in a heart beat.
