Aerosmith-Just bought tickets

Ok, I am concert-obsessed right now, I know! This morning in my email came an unexpected announcement for an Aerosmith presale for a show in my area beginning in....30 minutes.

Quick decision time because I was planning on seeing Bon Jovi 2 weeks after said Aerosmith concert and I absolutely canNOT afford both. Have wanted to see Aerosmith for a loooong time, never have had the chance. They won. Hoping to catch Bon Jovi on a second leg of their tour after I replenish my finances

So this concert is on DSs birthday (day before Thanksgiving, actually), so I'm taking him as his gift. Is that a great mom/son outing or what? Lenny Kravitz is with them. What a night it will be.

Anybody else ever see them - good stuff? If you're a fan by the way, there are only 4 or 5 shows listed so far. Ticketmaster presale began this morning.

DH and I have seen Aerosmith a bunch of times, and they're always awesome!! I love Bon Jovi, but Aerosmith would have won out for us too The best Aerosmith concert that I went to was on New Years' Eve 1997/98. It was at the Fleet Center in Boston...awesome concert!

I've seen them once, DH saw them twice. We were both very disappointed. Sure, they sounded good, but they just didn't seem to care whether or not they had an audience. They didn't get very involved with us. I felt like I was watching them on tv or something.

Seen LK too, not so impressed but he can't be worse than Andrew WK who opened for Aerosmith the last time I saw them.

DH and I have seen Aerosmith coutless times both in Philly and Hershey. We have never been disappointed. My husband even has one of Joey Kramer's drumsticks that he caught at the end of one of those concerts. Unfortunately we will miss the Philly show in November because we will be in Ireland. It should be a great show though. I would love to see Lenny Kravitz.

Cool, having LK on the bill might make the ticket price actually worth it. If he's still there when the hit Seattle I may break down and give them the ungodly amount they charge for concert tickets these days.

No kidding - not to mention the ten bucks per ticket charged by TicketBast...I mean TicketMaster.

How did they ever do it back in the days of 12 buck concert tickets? How did they even afford the electricity those poor things?

This is a real common complaint of mine; I'm sure eyes are rolling
