Aerophile ballon ride in DS post-Covid?

I’ve never tried the Aerophile balloon ride in DS, but am contemplating it during our March trip. Has anyone ridden it post-Covid? I assume there are other people in the balloon with you? I’d love details on how crowded it is, if you’re able to socially distance, etc. (I’m VERY Covid-cautious.). Thanks!

There are other people on board and they do socially distance. You have to stay stationary in your spot and not get to walk around for different view though so it kind of stinks in that regard.

We had ice cream at the tables by the Aerophile booth last week. The groups going up were very small, which made me think perhaps they were only taking one group at a time. I even commented to my husband that it would be super romantic if I weren't terrified of heights!

rode it 2 weeks ago. wait was a good 25-30 minutes.

you go up in groups but everything is very spread out and separated. no issues with the social distance guidelines, even though they obviously contribute to a bit longer wait. for 20 bucks totally worth it especially at sundown.
