Aerial construction photos

Interesting pictures, especially Pandora's. It gives some pretty good clues on where the main attractions will be and how the layout is going to work.

The first thing that stood out to me too was the coloring of the sidewalks at MK. I knew they couldn't let a detail like that go undone. Great photos! I have a better understanding of a lot of things now.

Thanks a lot for posting these. Never heard of nearmap before but I checked it out now.

Still can't tell for sure, but it looks like there may be only one path leading to Avatar Land after all. The route towards Harambe seems to be blocked by a backstage access road. Perhaps they'll build an underpass or overpass.

The path goes under the access road....

I didn't realize how much extra retail space they were putting into Disney Springs. Disney is going to be loving all that monthly rent.

Nearmap has updated their maps. These aerials are from August 5th 2015.

Soarin Third Theater construction

Question: Since the new theater is directly behind the other two, how will it be accessed when they are splitting up guests to go to each theater? One group goes left, one goes straight and one goes right? Will they just break out part of that back wall where the current split off is now?

It's been said that the queue will likely be reworked a little bit for this.

Only problem is they don't have tenants for all of the spaces in town center yet as far as I understand.

That would certainly be the easiest way to do it and the new theater seems to be aligned for it. The exit would then likely go along the north side of the current theater building to join the exit hallway.

Thanks a lot. It took me a couple of minutes to realize that north is "down" in this photo, and the building is part of Harambe Market.

Yeah, that building is the new restrooms behind the new Festival of the Lion King theater.

I know that construction takes time, but I can't wait for all of it to be done....eager to see the finished product! I'd rather have them take their time and produce something of great quality, though.

I remember they were doing testing for a fast pass only theater. Perhaps the queue for that theater will have a different entrance.

Great pix!! Can't wait to see the finished products. Going in the fall of 2016. I don't think Pandora is opening until 2017, correct?
