Advise on choosing date for MK day

Traveling to Disney May 27-June 2. Crowd calanders has the entire time as 8/9. My current schedule is as following

May 27(Wednesday) Arrival Day afternoon @ day MK (Most rec park)
May 28(Thursday) Epcot (recommended)
May 29(Friday) SWW day @ HS (not recommended, but none are b/c of SWW)
May 30(Saturday) Magic Kingdom(not recommending b/c Evening EMH and weekend) or Animal Kingdom(recommended)
May 31(Sunday) Magic Kingdom (most recommended b/c closing at 7)
June 1(Monday) Animal Kingdom(highly recommended) or Magic Kingdom(not recommended)
June 2 (Tuesday) morning HS/Depart

So here is my dilemma... Do I leave MK on the 30th even though we probably will not make use of the EMH or switch it with June 1st and more AK to the 30th? I am thinking my chance of getting FPs are better the later in the trip I have a MK day. But which is going to draw more people into the MK EMH or being a Monday?

I'd say it's a coin toss. Given the overall crowd levels for your trip, and the specific reasons for MK being recommended or not on those two days, AND either way you're doing two days in a row at MK. . . In your shoes, I'd base my decision on:

- are you early morning people or night owls? EMH are still a good idea *as long as you take full advantage*. don't go there if you'll be in the crowded park but leaving before EMH. But it's still a good choice if you'll last all night thru EMH
- Are you planning to make ADR's? If so, keep both dates as possibilities and see whether you're able to get a favorite dining reservation on one day over the other
- wait until your 60 (or 30) days FP selection date and see which gives you the best choices of your preferred rides.

Last - are SWW really only on "weekend" days? (I've never been) would your days work better if you move DHS to Monday, do Friday at MK, AK on Saturday (recommended)? Unless, of course your purpose is seeing SWW!

I am assuming that you want one of those days AK and the other MK. I vote for MK on June 1. I think you are right that there is a slightly higher chance of getting coveted FPs at MK later in your trip (assuming you are on-site and have the 60-day window from the first day of your trip). Also I'm guessing that Saturday at MK with EMH will be worse than Monday at MK.
