Hello,

Our next trip will be either in December 2023 or in March 2024. In December, we would be going in the beginning of the month so I understand that crowds are milder then, but our trip will be shorter with conflicting travel schedules of our party.
The beast that I would like suggestions on is about March 2024. I know that we cannot predict the future, but past experience I feel is a way better predictor. We have only traveled to WDW in March once, in 2021 so our trip was skewed with the pandemic and we only went to one park. For this trip we would have 5 adults and 2 children 5 and 3. If we were to go for 6 days. It would actually coincide with the Orange country school spring break as well. We would probably be able to do 2 or 3 parks. With the littles, we know that MK is a must. We are also thinking about AK for the second day. Now if we were to do a 3rd day, would HS or EP be your choice? With the crowd levels, I am worried that we may not have time to do everything at the 2 initial parks so maybe a 2nd day there? Have not been to WDW with children yet so I am not sure how they will handle transportation, heat, etc. We would really not dine out, more of eating at the resort or in the park with QS.
We definitely would want to have a pool day and then a relaxation day or two.
I have wanted to travel when it is a little warmer because our trips typically take place in January and this past January our trip got caught up with the cold front that limited our pool/ocean time that we like to take.
Would we be crazy to go to the beach during this week?
Even during spring break, is a Tuesday or Wednesday still better to go to the parks on?
If we only do 2 parks, would a full day give us enough time to get everything we want? I am hoping our trip will coincide with extended evening hours (if they keep it🤞) or an after hours for us to possibly attend.

Thanks to all who will help us out on our next vacation

At those ages, I would definitely say HS over Epcot if you add a day. Personally, I would go in December and take advantage of this period where missing school isn't a factor because the crowds will be *drastically* different than in March.

Are you coming from the west coast? You'll want to plan around the time difference impact on the kiddos when planning for what they can do each day (e.g. rope drop/early mornings will probably be a no-go for the first day or two.)

We never took park breaks at that age, just powered through and called it quits mid-afternoon to head back to the resort and relax, pool time, early dinner. The transportation and getting in and out of the parks were too exhausting to contemplate doing that just for a resort break.

We are coming from the west coast, we know from previous experience to not have many plans the day we fly in because it is almost an all day adventure

I went the first week of December 2021, and I will never go back in December again.

I am assuming you mean Orange County FL, which would mean FL Spring Break. FL Spring Break has overlapped with Texas for several years in a row now, which makes it obvious avoid for me. Florida Spring Break is blacked out for the lowest two FL APs, and some of December isn't, so that's something at least, but doesn't stop all of Texas. I would try to find some park videos of Spring Break a few weeks ago to see how crazy it is.

Yeah, I watched a couple of them. One of our travel party just got a new job with the school district and if we are traveling as a family, we now have to follow their school schedule as they do not get vacation days in this position
