adviced needed for cruise

We cruised in September and had to dock at Ft lauderdale instead of Port Canaveral due to Ophelia. They informed us 2days before that it might happen and then confirmed it the day before.
It was all v. well organised, you got of the ship and the buses were all there to take you to WDW or Orlando Airport or Port Canaveral.

So if you book through a TA here in the uk all the tips are included? :confused3 That would be a good deal then! I've booked a package through TCD for next September.

Personally, I think if you are thinking of doing a Disney Cruise as part of your Orlando holiday it is much cheaper to book it separately, on line, through a website such as Dreams Unlimited - we certainly found this to be the case after extensive research.

We are paying $1650 (2 adults / 2 children) for a cat 12, 4 Night Disney Wonder in Feb 2005 - having booked 12 months in advance (you normally get better rates booking early) -I think it is better value doing the 4 rather than 3 night if you can pay the little bit extra.

From the various quotes I recieved, I would have thought the price you were quoted for Oct is pretty good for the 4 of you - hurricane season is risky but as this year has been such a bad one I would hope that next year would be better.

Have a great time on your cruise :cheer2:
