I need advice on Walt Disney World character dining. We have three boys - so we are not doing any of the princess meals. We can do five character meals with our dining plan. One we are doing for sure is Mickey's Backyard BBQ. I am having trouble deciding which others to do. Our middle child is special needs, disabled and has a hard time sitting in his stroller, and we also have a 8 and 2 year old. The 2 year old has severe food allergies. I want to make this the best experience- it is our first family vacation ever. My middle child has been in the hospital so much. We thought character meals is the way to go for the sit down meals. I can choose between (have reservation for- we leave in a week) Chef Mickey breakfast, O'hana breakfast, Cape May Cafe breakfast, Tusker House breakfast, Hollywood and Vine dinner with Minnie and friends and Crystal Palace breakfast. Which two would you drop? Which would you for sure keep?? Currently two days have meals at the same time- which would you keep if I can't change the times? Chef Mickey or Crystal Palace and Cape May or O'hana?

I think that you have overlap with the characters so

Mickey's BBQ
'Ohana has Stitch
H&V Breakfast
CP Breakfast

You will have the Traditional characters, Lilo and Stitch, Winnie the Pooh and Friends, and the Micky Mouse Clubhouse gang.

One other to consider if you could get it would be Garden Grill in Epcot. This one has Chip and Dale and with the exception of Cape May, is the least chaotic of all character meals.

I would keep the ones that are in the parks (Tusker House, H&V, Crystal Palace) since those are easier to get to if you are already doing park days. Between Ohana and Cape May, I'd choose based on whether you'll be at Epcot or Magic Kingdom. Ohana is a monorail ride from Magic Kingdom and Cape May is a walk or boat ride from Epcot.

Garden Grill is one of my favorites, with great interaction with Chip & Dale, and the food is brought family-style. I would pick Garden Grill over Cape May as an Epcot option.

Sci Fi diner is another one to consider, even without characters, the setting makes a big impression on kids in that age range.
