I always love those one liners that sound so warm and fuzzy.

I was thinking about this one the other day.

" Never be the first to let go in a hug"

Now think about that one for awhile... where would we be if everyone decided to follow that advice?

The first one liner that comes to mind is the famous "Love Story" quote. "Love means never having to say you're sorry." Yeah - right.

I think "never go to bed angry" is pretty silly advice too. I don't know many people whose problems are always able to be solved in less than a day. I know I have to let my dh stew a day or two before he's willing to talk, so in general if we're disagreeing - I do go to bed angry. Keeping him up and trying to force him to talk it out simply wouldn't work - he has to sleep on it before he can talk it out.
