I really want to go WDw next year, I have missed for 2 years now :confused3

What will be the cheapest way to get there other than swimming there.
Package holiday or booking everything separate.
Advice on how to rent point (safe way)

I always had luck with the package deal. If you buy the package with Disney visa card you get 6 months to pay 0 percentages interest for 6 months. You may also check Southwest vacations I got a great deal from them.

I book with complete orlando, been cheapest for us so far, buy hotel and tickets and then at 11 months out add on flights deposit only for all and oay 8 weeks before

Im sure youll get loads of advice here.
Things that are good to know, just to help others who may have some tips.
dates, number of people going, do you want to stay on site?
fly indirect/direct, are you going to drive.

we're staying on site and want to fly direct.
we found the best thing for us is to book hotel, tickets & dining with Disney. then we're going to book flights, possibly with Virgin when they come out or book a fly drive now.

hope you find a fab deal :wizard:

Sadly I don't think Disney Visa is available here in the UK :(

Sorry I had a senior moment about the airlines after I posted the info I saw that you were from the U.K. Wasn't sure if you could get the Disney visa card but that is a great deal paying on 6 months. I am really happy when I meet folks from the U.K. you are this countries best friend. My son travelled to the U.K. and he was grateful how friendly and helpful during his trip.

Hi thanks guys, it will be 1ad, 2 kids (12/4)

Resorting to staying off site due to cost, not driving and would like to fly direct :thumbsup2

If your thinking of renting DVC points i found this site with a really useful points chart with prices http://www.dvcrequest.com On DIS there is a DVC forum with lots of info.

It might be quite time consuming staying off site without a car.You will be reliant on shuttle busses to get you to the parks. It might be worth investigating frequency of these especially as your on your own with two children.Have you looked at some of the moderate Disney hotels these are including free dining,$200 gift card for 2014 and you can use the Magical Express to get you to your hotel.
Where are you flying from and when? Direct can be the most expensive way of travelling but the least amount of hassle. Its very dependant on time of year(out of season £450 per adult,August £850+) but you can get very good indirect for less especially if your going at peak time.
Packages are a good way of booking if you havent got the time be be trawling the net for deals, but generally DIY is the best way to go.A lot of people here use Complete Orlando,or go direct with Disney and keep looking for flights at 11 months out.
Happy planning:)
