Hello,
I'm sort of new here...but I've been reading for months. DH, DS5, DS3 and I leave in 12 days:woohoo: . I've had a park schedule made, as well as ADRs, for three or four months, but just learned that MNSSHP begins while we're in WDW, but we'll be in a different park that day. I chose the parks for each day based on EMH so my boys would have time to go back to the hotel and swim/rest. Could someone/anyone please look at my schedule and give me some advice?!?

This is our first family trip to WDW :dance3: . DH has been there a few times, and I was there once for just a day, back before Epcot opened  .

Myself, DH, DS5, DS3
September 10th to 16th at All-Star Movies with free dining
6 day MYW base tickets

Mon. - arrive MCO at 9:20 am, drop carry-ons at resort, go to MGM, CS lunch, 6:40 ADR for Sci-Fi

Tues. - to MK, 1:00 ADR at Crystal Palace, nap/swim at ASMo, evening back to MK or DTD, CS dinner

Wed. - to AK, nap/rest at ASMo, CS lunch, back to AK for 5:00 ADR Rainforest Cafe (OOP)

Thurs. - some combination of MK/DTD, CS lunch early, 4:30 ADR Liberty Tree Tavern

Fri. - am at ASMo/swim/arcade, to Epcot, CS lunch, 4:15 DH does Dive Quest, 8:10 Akershus ADR

Sat. - DTD and/or return to the boys' favorite park, CS lunch, Hoop-De-Doo ADR 5:00

Sun. - only have until noon :sad1: No plans yet

I figured that if DH and DS3 get tired, DS5 and I can go out on our own a bit. But now I learned that MNSSHP in on Friday. So, I'd have to try to change DiveQuest to Thurs, and get new ADRs for Epcot on Thurs. and MK on Fri., if that's even possible.

Please...what do you think of the schedule, especially for DS5 and DS3? And Is MNSSHP worth switching ADRs and DQ? Any and all advice would be appreciated!

Hello,

We love the MNSSHP its a great event with my all time favorite parade. If you can afford the cost of the tickets I would urge your family to try it. Just nap mid day. If they kids can stay awake unill 11, they will own the park and all rides are walk on. (like peter pan which always has a huge line)

other wise, I suggest you check out a Passporter guide. they have some tourning schedules that look really good. easy to follow plans and great tips. I always let each kid pick 2 things they really want to do, then anything else is gravy.

good luck and have a ball!
:thumbsup2

Forgive me for hijacking your post, I'm a Disney virgin and cannot wait to go...... but what is MNSSHP??? I am still trying to learn all these things!! Thanks.

Mickey's not so scary halloween party. It is held at mk after hours. It requires a separate admission ticket.

Cancel the ADR at Akerhaus and go to MNSSHP. It is from 7-12 so you and your hubby will have time after his diving to go back to your hotel and get the kids into their costumes. Kids like Epcot, but they LOVE MK. They love it even more when it's decorated for Halloween.
Feel free to PM me. I have a DS2 and we have been to WDW 3 times with him (going again in October) and many times before he was born.
