Hi! We lucked out and are planning on staying Poly in December! :cool1:

I want to enjoy the benefits of being on the Monorail line and might re-think some TS ideas.

Right now I have Ohanna's, The Wave & Grand Floridian Cafe booked.

I also on one day have Yak - N - Yetti but am worried it might be more of a Yak than a Yetti from many revues and I do not need medicore food on this special trip.

So can you guys give me some ideas of other places to enjoy TS on the regular dining plan that are Monorail resorts?

Not interested in Chef Mickey's (bland buffet IMO) and we have done Kona's and were thinking of something new.

Feel free to five your other opinions on
T-Rex, Tutto Italia and Sci Fi!
Also - what are your favorite CS places on the Monorail line?

Our group consists of 5 - 3 adults and 2 teens - only 1 might consider seafood.

Thanks for the help!

We had an incredible dinner at The Wave a couple of weeks ago. It usually does not fill quickly so it is usually possible to get last minute ressies. Nice atmosphere, wonderful food and the best service we have had at WDW in a long time. Lots of non-seafood options available. Also right on the monorail line at the CR
Woops...just reread your post and realized you have already booked the Wave...oh well,,,,you made a good choice anyway!

Yak & Yeti was one of our BEST meals on our recent trip!!!! EVerything was delicious and the service was top notch. Honestly the 2 biggest dining disappointments were "monorail restaurants"; California Grill and 'Ohana. BUT, take all reviews with a grain of salt - just because I loved it or didn't love it, doesn't mean that you will feel the same. I wouldn't worry about Yak & Yeti though - it really was fantastic and most of the reviews you read on it will be good!

Yeah! ! for Yak N Yetti! Tell me - why were you dissapointed with Ohanna?
That was our favorite last time for food quality.

Thanks for your reply!

Yuk for Yak & Yeti - was there in October... food was so terrible and this was not our first time... 3rd... just gets worse and worse....

There are so many great monorail TS:
Narcoosees (our favorite)
California Grill
Citricos
Spirit of Aloha...
these are all 2 Ts but so worth it....
you can try 1900 Park Fare
Ohanas

Take my review and everyone elses's with a grain of salt! I see someone else just posted that they didn't care for Yak & Yeti! We found the food and service there to be fantastic! (and if you're looking for a tasty adult beverage you MUST try the Yak Attack!!) Honestly the meat at 'Ohana was very dry and tough, not good at all. The rest of the food was fine unless, like me, you don't care for normally savory foods that are sweetened!!! That's just not my thing - don't care for fruit in my salads or sweet glazes on meats. I'm not very picky and 'Ohana and California Grill were the only 2 disappointments of our trip. Dessert at both of them was incredibly good though!!! If you're interested in a place, try it!!!

When it comes to my favorite counter service location on the Resort Monorail line I would highly recommend the Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary. My favorite item on their menu is the Chicken Ceasar Salad with the dressing already on it and it tastes amazing. Plus unlike other counter service locations all their Salads are made fresh each time you order them, so they are not pre-made and kept in a fridge all day.
