Advice Please - Arriving in the Evening & FP

Is this realistic? Our flight arrives at 6:05 pm on 12/6. We will only have carry on bags. If we take Magical Express from the airport will we have time to check in @ ASMo & get to Magic Kingdom for a fastpass window between 7:40pm-8:30pm? The fastpass is for Mickey @ Town Square.

Also, MK has evening EMH from 9-11pm. Is Mickey available during EMH? Would that be an option?

This is our only MK day (other than MVMCP). Its a short trip. Any advice is appreciated. (I wasn't sure whether to post here or the transportation board). TIA.

It's possible, but everything would have to go just right to make it. Do online check-in, drop your bags with bell services, (don't go to your room), and grab the bus to MK. Worst case scenario, you miss the FP+ window. With the possible 15 min grace period after 8:30, you might still make it. Keep the FP+ and run!

I would think you will arrive at your resort by 7:30-8:00, if all goes well. If you just dump your bags and run, you will be lucky to make it to the park by 8:30, imo.

It's highly unlikely. If you land on time, you probably won't be in the DME line until 6:30 pm and then there is typically a wait to get on DME plus multiple stops at different resorts. You will be lucky to be at your resort by 7:30 pm. You would then need to drop your bags at bell services and then go out to the bus stop. Between waiting for the bus, traveling to MK and going through bag check, you could be looking at another hour. Is it possible? Sure. Likely? No. I would either try to move the FP so it ends at 9 pm or just get in line as soon as you enter the park. Mickey does not meet during evening EMH. To save some time, either take a private car from MCO or grab an uber from your resort and have them drop you off at the entrance to CR (and walk to MK) or at GF (and take the monorail). To save time, we always take a private car from MCO to our resort. Usually it takes an hour between the time we land and the time we get to our resort. If you went this route, the driver could most likely stop at the resort so you can drop off your bags and then take you to CR or GF. If you did that, you would save a substantial amount of time.

Thank you for all of your responses. The time slot is the last one I could get (at least for now -- my FP window opened today). I'll keep looking for one that ends at 9pm. I might do the private car from the airport, drop our bags and go straight to the park. Thanks for that idea.
