All depends on how many pictures you take. We took a cruise in June and I shot over 500 pictures in 7 days. At Disney, however, I would likely shoot less since we've been there many times and there is almost nothing that we don't already have photos of. Of course, there are also days like yesterday when we were at a wedding (DW and DD were in the bridal party). I took over 250 pictures.

BTW - I have a 4 megapixel Olympus D-580. I get 260 high res images on a 256MB card.

I would look at cameras that take compact flash or sd memory cards. They are some much cheaper than xd and memory sticks.
You can pick up 256mb memory at zipzoomfly.com for under $15 with rebates. Memory stick and xd will cost 3 times that amount.

I have a Panasonic and like it. It has a burst mode that can take 4 shots in 1.5 seconds. I also like most Canons.
